A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you

more than he loves himself.

Tom Morais & Marilyn Proulx

We are Tom and Marilyn: experienced, compassionate, and skilled dog trainers who help owners develop and maintain a more healthy, relaxed and (yes) FUN relationship with their dogs. We channel experiences with Lucky and Jack, our first dogs who brought us into this amazing profession, to work through problem behaviors and come to a place where you can enjoy your faithful friend. With collaboration and ongoing support to ensure owners maintain all the wonderful changes we achieve, we help dogs and their owners facing any behavior issues to assess training and behavior modification goals and to select the best program for them and their dogs.

To learn more about us, check out our programs, come to a free community pack walk or class at Chuck and Don's in Longmont, and be sure to view our YouTube channel for helpful training hints and demos. We look forward to meeting you and helping you love to walk your dog again.

Tessa Luke: Trainer

Meet our trainer, Tessa! Tessa is originally from Kansas and moved to Colorado after living in a few other cool places in the Midwest and East Coast. Tessa has learned about dog training by training her own dog, working at a pet store, and working for the Humane Society as well as doing an internship here at Wicked Lucky Dogs. Tessa always enjoyed training and considers reactivity issues with her first dog as a driving force in “going pro”. We’re so grateful Tessa is following her passion for training and teaching owners simple techniques to enjoy their dogs more. Tune in for a Facebook Live to meet Tessa, talk training, and welcome her into our community.

Jennifer Lane: Assistant

Meet our amazing assistant, Jennifer! Jennifer is originally from upstate New York and currently lives near San Francisco with her fiancé. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys motorcycling, arts and crafts, and raising her pet bunnies. We are so grateful for her hard work and would love it if you would welcome her to our tribe.

Sara Hazard: Social Media Director

Sara is our social media coordinator. Originally from Colorado, she spent several years in the Pacific Northwest where she discovered her passion for photography and creative marketing. In 2017 she started volunteering at Northwest Dog Project, a rescue and rehabilitation center, where she quickly realized that she wanted to work with dogs full time. She and her husband are now settled back down in Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and game nights with friends. Sara has been a dog lover her whole life and we’re so thankful to have her on our team.
